Title

U.S. Hospitals Infographic

Description

This "Preparing U.S. Hospitals for Ebola" infographic outlining the three-tiered system established by CDC and ASPR: Frontline Healthcare Facility, an Ebola Assessment Hospital, and/or an Ebola Treatment Center. In order to prepare U.S. healthcare facilities and providers for possible and confirmed Ebola cases, CDC identified strategies for identifying cases and transferring patients to the proper facility. In Ebola recognition and treatment, it is important for a patient to be treated at a facility with the appropriate staff and equipment in order to prevent the spread of the disease and give the patient the best care possible. This CDC infographic identifies how the chain of identification and treatment can be provided through the different levels of care for patients with Ebola.
