Emory PPE

Description

Example of PPE used in the Serious Communicable Disease Unit -SCDU- at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, where the first Ebola patients were treated in the U.S. The full set of PPE includes a fluid-resistant suit, plastic apron, two pairs of gloves, fluid-resistant shoe covers, and a hood with face and neck shields. Each item is meant for one-time use only.
